The polypropylene cartridge is intended for water purification from mechanical impurities – sand, silt, dirt, rust.

Protects plumbing and piping from damage.
The outer pretreatment layer traps larger impurities. This helps reduce the stress on the inner layer which traps the smallest mechanical particles.

This structure allows the cartridge to efficiently purify water at a higher rate with less pressure drop.

How the filter works?

The cartridge is a porous cylinder made of expanded polypropylene.

The required degree of mechanical strength is achieved without using a core by sintering the fibers into a rigid structure.

During cleaning, the particles of the material retain mechanical impurities, and clean water is supplied to the consumer.

Service

The Ecosoft 2.5″x10″ mechanical cleaning cartridge is designed for cold water treatment only.

The cartridge is not intended for the treatment of microbiologically contaminated water without proper disinfection of the source or treated water.

The resource of the cartridge depends on the quality of the source water.

Do not exceed the recommended filtration rate, this may lead to a deterioration in the quality of water treatment.

To obtain clean water, the cartridge must be changed at least once every 6-9 months.
