The Pro 1 module combines mechanical filtration and a highly efficient deep purification unit with an increased concentration of AQVALEN ion-exchange sorbent. Improved ion exchange copes with increased concentrations of colloidal and dissolved iron (Fe2+ and Fe3+) in tap water, removing chemical impurities from rusty, cloudy, or visibly dirty water.
The ProH module softens water and slows down scale formation. This helps eliminate the unpleasant rainbow-colored film that forms on the surface of the water due to hardness salts. Reducing the rate of scale formation depends on the source tap water: if it has a high mineral content (above 5 meq/L), the module will require frequent regeneration. For very hard water, reverse osmosis filters are more cost-effective and convenient. The Pro H module also removes iron (Fe2) and manganese. It is easily regenerated independently and can be regenerated multiple times.
The ProHF module with an ultrafiltration membrane mechanically removes bacteria and cysts without the use of chemical bactericides. The membrane’s pores are five times smaller than any microorganism, so the water doesn’t need to be boiled, and it’s safe for everyone in the family, including those with allergies and sensitive digestion. It’s also suitable for baby food. The final stage involves conditioning the water: a carbon block with AQUALEN ion-exchange fiber and activated silver neutralizes unpleasant odors and tastes.
