Postkarbon works as a water conditioner cartridge in reverse osmosis systems. Water conditioning includes:
- Neutralization of turbidity;
- Removal of foreign odor;
- Improving taste.
Operating principle
The after-carbon cartridge consists of an integral body, inside which there is a filter material – activated carbon based on coconut shell. During the operation of the reverse osmosis system, the water passes through the post-filter, the material of which neutralizes foreign tastes and odors.
Recommendations for installation and operation
- The post-filter must be replaced at least once a year;
- The cartridge is installed after the reverse osmosis membrane;
- The cartridge is designed for preparing extremely cold water (up to 30°C).
