Get all the benefits of impeccable water quality with the Ecosoft MO 24000 commercial reverse osmosis system:
- Up to 24 m³ of purified water per day. Designed for water purification in breweries, farms, greenhouses, beverage production, chemical production, double glazing production.
- An effective solution for waterlogging. Provides consistently high quality purified water and allows you to adjust the permeate output depending on the quality of the water source.
- Original attractive design and compactness. Compact system design and specially designed connection panel.
- Easy to maintain. Pre-cleaner cartridges must be replaced regularly.
- Low energy costs. Using Dow™ Filmtec™ XLE membrane elements and Grundfos pumps.
OS 5000 controller for efficient and independent filter operation
The OS 5000 controller is designed for automatic or manual control of the operation of reverse osmosis equipment and provides:
turning the unit on and off according to the level in the storage tank;
automatic hydraulic washing of membranes;
in case of an emergency, stop the system to protect the pump from dry operation, protect the membranes from high pressure, etc.;
Measurement and display of electrical conductivity and temperature.
How does a reverse osmosis system work?
Inside the installation membrane module, water is divided into two streams:
– demineralized water – permeate
– water with high salt content – concentrate
During operation of the module, part of the concentrate is discharged into the sewer, and the rest is sent to the inlet of the high-pressure pump, providing the so-called concentrate processing.
An anti-caffold can be introduced into the incoming water flow, which prevents the formation of deposits inside the membrane elements.
Before entering the reverse osmosis unit, the water is pre-treated using a fine cartridge filter, preventing impurities larger than 5 microns from entering the membrane.
The device is controlled from the controller and provides:
- Automatic switching on and off of equipment with a signal from a level sensor in the permeate manifold or pressure in the permeate line with preliminary hydraulic flushing;
- emergency shutdown of equipment with signals from dry operation sensors, excess pressure in the module;
- switching off the equipment using an external “STOP” signal;
- hydraulic flushing of membranes;
- continuous monitoring of permeate quality (conductivity and temperature).
System service
For proper and efficient operation of the system it is necessary:
- Change mechanical cleaning cartridges at least once every 3 months. Mechanical cleaning cartridges are designed to protect membrane elements from large impurities such as sand, clay particles, etc. Delay in replacing the cartridge may damage or destroy the membrane.
- Chemically wash the reverse osmosis membrane at least twice a year. Flushing should be carried out in cases where the quality of the treated water has deteriorated or a decrease in productivity has been observed. This procedure is carried out using a chemical washing station and special reagents.
- Keep a log of system maintenance and performance, as well as water quality. Availability of system maintenance and operating history will ensure the most efficient and timely replacement of cartridges, chemical flushing of membranes and other system maintenance operations.
