The post-carbon cartridge for reverse osmosis systems performs the final purification of water from chlorine and improves its organoleptic properties. It is a replaceable element installed as the last purification stage in reverse osmosis filters. Passing through the activated carbon, it loses unwanted odors and acquires a fresh taste.

Description

The carbon post-filter acts as a water conditioner cartridge in reverse osmosis systems. Water conditioning includes:

Neutralization of turbidity;
Removal of foreign odors;
Taste improvement.

Principle of operation

The post-carbon cartridge consists of a non-separable housing, inside of which there is a filter material – activated carbon based on coconut shells. During the operation of the reverse osmosis system, water passes through the post-filter, the material of which neutralizes foreign tastes and odors.

Recommendations for installation and operation

The post-filter should be replaced at least once a year;
The cartridge is installed after the reverse osmosis membrane;
The cartridge is designed for the preparation of especially cold water (up to 30°C).
