Ecosoft R2D2-32 – Ultra-Slim Water Softening for Small Spaces
Ecosoft R2D2-32 is a compact automatic water softening system developed for apartments and smaller residential properties where installation space is limited.
With a cabinet width of just 220 mm, the system can be installed in narrow utility areas or suitable technical compartments where conventional water softeners may not fit.

How Does It Work?
The unit contains 8 litres of ion-exchange resin, which removes calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness.
When the resin’s exchange capacity is depleted, the automatic control valve initiates regeneration using a salt solution.
At an inlet hardness of 250 mg/L as CaCO₃, the system provides approximately 1,450 litres of softened water per regeneration cycle.

Installation and Maintenance
Installation requires a cold-water supply, a suitable drain connection for regeneration wastewater and an electrical power supply.
A mechanical sediment prefilter is recommended to protect the control valve from particles and debris.
