3 main cleaning steps:

• Pre-filtration – ensures the separation of all mechanical impurities, active chlorine, organochlorine compounds, as well as natural organic substances.
• Membrane cleaning (reverse osmosis element Ecosoft) – will remove up to 99.8% of dissolved impurities, as well as viruses and bacteria.
• To correct the taste and smell, the purified water is post-treated with activated Chemviron Carbon.

Reverse osmosis process
Reverse osmosis is the most advanced water purification technology. Thanks to a special semi-permeable membrane, it became possible to effectively purify drinking water from practically all harmful impurities, including bacteria and viruses. Such membrane pores are 200 times smaller than those of viruses and 4000 times smaller than those of bacteria.

Operating principle
The principle of operation of the filter is the separation of source water with a semi-permeable membrane into two streams: purified water – permeate and water with a high content of impurities – concentrate, which is discharged into the sewer.

The RObust 3000 filter has two Ecosoft reverse osmosis membranes. This allows not only to obtain high-quality water, but also to significantly increase the performance of the system, thus ensuring the supply of purified water to the consumer directly, without using a storage tank.

The filter contains a thoughtful connection panel, visualized with icons, which makes its use simpler and more convenient. Special indicators allow you to monitor the efficiency of the filter and replace the cartridges in time. In addition, advanced automation provides electrical protection of the pump against dry operation.

SERVICE
The RObust 3000 reverse osmosis filter is only intended for post-treatment of cold water.
The front panel of the RObust 3000 has two pressure gauges, one showing the inlet water pressure after the pre-filter cartridges and the other showing the pressure behind the pump in the membrane unit. It provides recommended gauge pressures and troubleshooting tips if pressures are not as expected.

• Pre-treatment cartridge – If the pressure after the cartridges is less than 1 bar, this may mean that the pre-filter cartridge is dirty. Delay in replacing the cartridge can damage or destroy the membrane. The pre-cleaner cartridge must be changed after cleaning 15,000 liters of water, but not less than once every 3 months. The resource depends on the consumption and quality of purified water.
• Membranes – Reverse osmosis membranes should be replaced if the filtration rate drops significantly. To obtain purified water of constant quality, we recommend replacing the reverse osmosis membranes after 70,000 liters of purification, but at least once a year.
• Post-filtration cartridge – If the taste of purified water deteriorates significantly, an unpleasant smell appears in the water, it is recommended to replace the carbon post-filter. This filter must be changed after cleaning 15,000 liters of water, but not less often than once every 3 months.

In case of long interruptions in the operation of the filter (more than 2 weeks), it is necessary to disinfect the filter (the procedure is described in detail in the passport).
