Installing a filter is quite beneficial as it prevents dirt and particles from entering your home’s water system. Many people don’t know that a high-quality particulate filter in the incoming water is the best way to protect the appliances.

Installation in residential water supply systems.

The water filter is installed in the water system of a private house, a small apartment complex or a private house as well as the equipment connected to it, faucets, shower heads, etc. It is recommended to install such a filter immediately after the water meter, at the water inlet.

Protection against dirt and particles.

Water that contains dirt and solids can cause faucets to leak and damage pipes and home appliances. In the worst case scenario, corrosion will cause the pipeline to burst.

A particulate filter is designed to provide safer and more efficient water filtration by preventing solid particles such as rust and sand from entering your home’s water supply system. Although there are many different filters on the market, they all have one thing in common: the filter components are not regularly flushed or changed because it is too time-consuming or too complicated. In addition to being easy to install and use, the BWT E1 filter’s superior engineering and design make it easy to replace filter elements.

One actuation of the lever shuts off the water supply, reduces the water pressure and then releases the hygiene tank (the filter cup containing the filter element) with one simple action, allowing the filter element to be removed, sorted and recycled with household waste. A new filter element is then removed from the sanitary packaging and placed back into the filter glass. After that, by pressing the lever down, we install the spare filter and immediately connect the water supply. This innovative method ensures frequent filter replacement, maintaining the integrity of the filter system.

Release the interlock switch, which also turns off the water supply at the same time
Lift the lever, which automatically raises the hygiene container with the filter element
Insert the new hygiene container or replace only the filter element.
Lower the lever. Lock the switch.

BWT has significantly reduced the hygiene issues associated with traditional filters by eliminating the need to handle components that come into contact with water. When changing the sanitary cup, the E1 prevents splashes and the water line does not need to be drained.
