A carbon postfilter acts as a water conditioning cartridge in reverse osmosis systems. Water conditioning includes:
Turbidity neutralization;
Odor removal;
Taste improvement.
Operating Principle
The postfilter consists of a one-piece housing containing a filter material—activated coconut shell carbon. During reverse osmosis system operation, water passes through the postfilter, whose material neutralizes foreign tastes and odors.
Installation and Operation Recommendations
The postfilter should be replaced at least once a year;
The cartridge is installed after the reverse osmosis membrane;
The cartridge is designed for producing extremely cold water (up to 30°C).
