The main function of the water softening filter housing is to protect against condensation on the surface of the tank.

Why does condensation form on the surface of the tank?

Granular water filters are usually installed in rooms with poor fresh air supply. The temperature difference between the water and the surrounding environment creates a dew point on the surface of the tank. The reservoir fogs up and water droplets flow through it, forming puddles around the water treatment plants.

The filter’s tight-fitting neoprene anti-condensation cover isolates it from the warm ambient air, so condensation no longer forms on its surface.

How to install an anti-condensate cover?

The outer surface of the tank must first be dried, then wrapped in a neoprene cover and zipped.
