Before starting the reverse osmosis system, it is necessary to prepare the membrane element, calibrate the instruments and perform other system checks. Avoid sudden pressure or flow changes in the membrane elements to prevent damage during start-up, shutdown and flushing.
During start-up, it is recommended to gradually switch the reverse osmosis system from rest to operating mode:
the source water pressure should be raised within 30-60 seconds
the flow rate should be reached within 15-20 seconds
the permeate obtained in the first hour of operation is discarded
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Keep the membrane elements moist after initial wetting.
To prevent biofouling during long downtimes, it is recommended to immerse the membrane elements in preservative solutions.
The maximum differential pressure along the entire body length is 2.1 bar.
