ATLAS FILTRI HYDRA RAH is designed for mechanical pre-filtration of incoming water and protection of plumbing and downstream water-treatment equipment.
The reusable RAH filtration element incorporates a durable stainless-steel mesh with a filtration rating of 90 μm. It captures sand, rust, scale and other suspended solid particles that may be present in the incoming water.
One of the key advantages of the HYDRA system is that the filtration element does not require regular replacement like a conventional disposable cartridge.
Accumulated contaminants can be removed using the filter’s backwash cleaning system. Opening the drain valve at the bottom of the filter activates the flushing process and helps remove contaminants collected on the filtration element.
This reduces the consumption of disposable cartridges and makes HYDRA particularly suitable for permanent installation as the first mechanical filtration stage.
HYDRA can be installed upstream of water softeners, iron-removal systems, Ecomix filters, UV systems, reverse-osmosis equipment and other water-treatment systems.
