SERVICE
Membrane element for industrial system ECOPRO440
Before starting the reverse osmosis system it is necessary to prepare the membrane element- calibrate the instruments and perform other system checks. Avoid sudden pressure or flow changes in the membrane elements to prevent damage during start-up, shutdown and flushing.
During the startup it is recommended to gradually switch the reverse osmosis system from the rest to the operation mode:
- the source water pressure should be raised within 30-60 seconds;
- the flow rate should be reached within 15-20 seconds;
- the permeate obtained in the first hour of operation should be discarded.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Keep the membrane elements moist after initial moisturizing;
- To prevent membrane from biological pollution during the long downtimes, it is recommended to immerse the membrane elements in the preservative solutions;
- The maximum differential pressure along the entire body length is 2.1 bar.
