For water supply networks with low water pressure
What are the features of the model?
The Ecosoft Standard reverse osmosis filter is designed to purify drinking water in houses and apartments at low pressure in the cold water pipeline. Removes 99.8% of contaminants including bacteria and viruses. Purified water is completely safe for the human body. It is ideal for both drinking and cooking.
Benefits of reverse osmosis
Reverse osmosis is the most advanced water purification technology available to everyone.
The main element of the filter is a reverse osmosis membrane. The Ecosoft Standard filter has a membrane element with a capacity of 8 l/h. Purified water does not require boiling and is completely safe for small children.
With a reverse osmosis filter, you can enjoy clean and tasty water every day at an affordable price.
Advantages of a pump filter
For normal operation of the filter, water must be supplied to the reverse osmosis membrane under a certain pressure. When the pressure drops, water molecules do not pass through the surface of the membrane, and its performance decreases rapidly. To compensate for insufficient pressure in the pipeline, a multiplier (pump) is used.
The pump has a microcontroller and 2 pressure sensors (before and after the membrane). If the pressure in front of the diaphragm is lower than required, the pump starts to work. When the required pressure is reached, the pump is temporarily switched off.
Who is it best for?
Ecosoft Standard reverse osmosis filter with pump is suitable for apartments and houses with low water pressure. Provides ideal water quality for a family of three.
In the process of purification, water passes through 5 stages, each of which has a separate cartridge in the filter.
- The first stage – Preliminary purification of water from mechanical impurities. Passing through a cartridge made of porous polypropylene fiber, water is purified from silt, sand and rust particles.
- The second stage is water purification from organic and organochlorine substances, as well as chlorine. The taste, color and smell of water are improved. Inside the cartridge is activated carbon in the form of granules.
- The third stage – Final purification of water from the smallest particles of mechanical impurities in front of the reverse osmosis membrane.
- The fourth stage is the main stage of filtration. After pre-treatment, water penetrates through the membrane, which reliably retains 99.8% of pollutants.
- Fifth stage – The carbon post-filter gives the purified water a light, slightly sweet aftertaste.
Cartridge replacement interval
- Water pretreatment cartridges – every 3-6 months
- Reverse osmosis membrane -replacement after 1-3 years
- Carbon post-filter – every 9-12 months
If you do not plan to use the filter for a long time, it is recommended to turn off the water supply to it.
