DEVICE AND OPERATION OF THE FILTER
All filter components are mounted in a single unit, consisting of a housing and a control valve. The elements of the drainage and distribution system are closed with a convenient lid. Inside the housing there is a container with filter material, as well as separate containers for storing tableted salt and preparing a solution for washing. At the top of the filter there is a control controller – an electromechanical valve with an LCD display.
The technology of complex water purification in one device is possible thanks to the use of a multi-component mixture Ecomix. This is Ecosoft’s own development. The mixture consists of components with different purposes, each of which is designed to retain or neutralize certain types of impurities.
During the filtration process, water is passed through a layer of filter material. The Ecomix mixture accumulates contaminant particles that will be removed during regeneration. The filter operation is fully automated.

HOW THE FILTER WORKS
The filter is connected to the cold water supply, effectively purifies the water and independently controls all processes of its operation.
Water, previously purified from mechanical impurities, enters the filter housing filled with Ecomix C filter material. The material consists of five components that consistently retain iron, manganese, organic impurities and hardness salts. Purified water is supplied to the consumer through the central pipe of the housing.
When the life of the filter material runs out, the filter goes on its own to regenerate, but only at a time when water consumption is minimal, so as not to deprive you of access to purified water. In addition, the control valve remembers your water consumption at different times and adapts so that clean water is available even during peak consumption periods, such as on weekends.
Regeneration takes place in 5 stages:
- Backwashing with water. At the same time, iron and manganese compounds are washed out of the filter material.
A salt solution is supplied from the tank to the filter housing, passes through Ecomix® and washes out hardness salts and organic substances. Impurities along with the remaining solution are discharged into the sewer.
Short backwash. Once again loosens the load and washes out the remaining saline solution.
Flushing Ecomix® with a direct stream of water to lay down layers of material in the desired order.
Filling the salt tank with water to dissolve the tableted salt and prepare the solution for the next regeneration.The system can then be used to purify water.SERVICE
Thanks to the use of a multifunctional valve, the filter does not require constant attention. The only important task for the client during servicing is the timely addition of salt. This guarantees effective regeneration of the filter material, consistently high resource and water quality.
